El Paraiso: If you’re looking to get out of the city, head to Reisterstown and visit this family-owned restaurant and bakery, specializing in Salvadoran and Latin American cuisine. Typically closed on Mondays, the eatery will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for Cinco de Mayo. Enjoy classics like tacos and fajitas—or opt for Chesapeake-inspired crab pupusas. La Calle: Don’t be afraid to stop by the place whose been counting down the days till Cinco de Mayo since the beginning of April. La Palapa Grill & Cantina: Take a trip down to Ellicott City for Five Days of Cinco de Mayo. Beginning on Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., hang out with DJ Levi to support first responders with raffles and a silent auction.
